The deadline for high school seniors to apply for a scholarship from Raccoon Valley Radio is approaching quickly.
The Raccoon Valley Radio Broadcast and Business scholarship is for graduating high school seniors looking to attend either a two year community college or four year university, and majoring in the fields of broadcasting or business. General Manager John McGee says that two recipients will be chosen for the $300 scholarship, with the announcement of them receiving it coming at their respective high school awards ceremony. The scholarship is sponsored through all three stations within Raccoon Valley Radio, KGRA in Jefferson, KDLS in Perry and KKRF in Stuart.
