A new restaurant in the Adel community was officially welcomed with a ceremonial event on Thursday.
The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce stopped by The Great White Buffalo Public House for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Chamber Chair Alicia Hadfield praised the Co-Owners Jessica and David Lecocq on how amazing the place looks, while Adel Mayor Jim Peters said that he was happy to have another restaurant in the area. Jessica outlined that the building was worked on for one year, doing renovations before it officially opened its doors on February 13th.
She appreciated the commitment by her husband and the contractors. Bartender Tim Vanderveld acknowledged that there are plenty of cocktails available, which are all made in Iowa. The Great White Buffalo Public House is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4pm-12am and Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 2am. The restaurant welcomes adults over the age of 21.
