The indoor track & field season for the Greene County boys track & field squad has ended and the outdoor season is set to begin on March 25 at Simpson College in Indianola. Not every one of the nine Heart of Iowa Activities Conference programs has competed indoors, but among those that have, the Rams stack up well.
Drew Wolterman ranks first among HOIAC 800 meter runners and the 4 x 400 meter relay of Nicholas Stream, Wolterman, Zach Stalder, and Noah Hinote also have the top time. Three other Greene County events rank second in the conference. Those events are Broc Stream in the long jump, the 1,600 meter relay relay of Aden Bardole, Stalder, Nicholas Stream, and Wolterman, along with the 4 x 200 meter relay of Nicholas Stream, Lane Fields, Bardole, and Lincoln Schwander.
The Greene County girls will compete on Tuesday at Simpson College alongside the boys.
