Last week, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs boys track team competed in the 2025 IATC Indoor Championships in Ames. The Mustang boys found success, tying with Norwalk in 7th place with 28 points scored overall.

For the Mustang boys, sophomore Jack Meggison brought home some gold for Dallas Center-Grimes. Meggison participated in the 4×400 meter relay and took 9th place. Meggison found success in the 800 meter run, crossing the finish line in 1:55 taking home the gold for the Mustang boys scoring 10 points in the process.

Other Mustangs also found success like Elias Arbuckle placing 3rd in the boys 3200 meter run, Sam Mora placed 4th in the 1600 meter and Wyatt Valenta placed 5th in shot put.
