Panorama and West Central Valley students took part in the Iowa High School Speech Association’s State Individual Events Speech Contest.

Panorama had five students compete, with seven entries across three events. Taylin Woolheater and Nella Rivas both received straight Division-I ratings in Solo Musical Theater and Poetry respectively. Three students received split Division-I ratings, with two others coming away with split Division-II ratings. West Central Valley had one student compete, and Alison Egger received a straight Division-I rating. Unfortunately, no students from either school advanced to the Individual Events All-State Festival. Full results from both schools can be found in this story online.
