A class from the National Weather Service has been moved.

A storm spotter class instructed by a NWS meteorologist was originally scheduled for March 19th, but due to the predicted weather, Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeremy Cooper says that the class was moved to March 26th. The class is meant to help train individuals to properly spot and report different storms, and gives information that can be vital for proper identification of major weather events, like tornadoes and strong wind storms. Those that take the class can also register through the NWS office in Des Moines as a registered storm spotter. The training will remain at the Casey Community Building, and will be from 7-9pm on March 26th.
