
The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.
The council will hold three separate public hearings with one on the city’s intent to dispose of unclaimed and abandoned property of the Perry Police Department. A second one will be on the proposed ordinance amending subsection to chapter 165 for the Central Heavy Industrial District, and the third will be amending subsection to chapter 23 for the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Items on the agenda that are seeking approval include a resolution authorizing disposal of unclaimed property, a resolution to set a public notice for disposal of public property by sale within the city, a contract number acceptance for the Community Development Building Grant project, a resolution for the fiscal year 2024 annual audit report, a resolution to update the set rate for off-duty police services, and a resolution for infrastructure costs for Minburn Communication Services.
The council will also have first readings for ordinances to amend subsections to chapter 165 and 23 on the Central Heavy Industrial District and the Planning and Zoning Commission. The meeting will be held at the Clarion Room inside the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry on Monday at 6pm.
