The AC/GC Chargers boys and girls track and field teams were in action Thursday and Friday.

The boys team was at the Indoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday, and came away as the Class 1A Champions. The 4×100 meter and boys shuttle hurdle teams both came away with gold medal finishes, while silver was taken by Eli Madsen in the 400 meter race and Brexton Schneider in the 60 meter hurdles. The 4×400 meter relay team secured a bronze finish, and there were scoring finishes in the distance medley relay, shot put, high jump, 800 meter run, 60 meter hurdles and 60 meter dash.

The girls team competed Friday, taking a tie for 25th out of 35 teams. The highest score came from Ava Campbell in the 800 meter run, where she took third place. The 4×400 meter relay was the only other event to receive points, with the team finishing 8th.
