The 2024-25 boys basketball season for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs was one for the history books as both Wyatt Valenta and Kyle Cason broke school records. Valenta had an incredible season as a sophomore, playing in 25 games this season, scoring 54 points with 8 steals, 6 assists, 49 total rebounds and 1 block while coming off the bench for the Mustangs.

Valenta made school history this season on the defensive side of the ball as he was able to take 11 charges this season which is a single season record at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. In his second year in the program, Valenta can proudly see his name in the history books for the Mustangs boys basketball program.
