District assignments were released for high school football last week. In this 5 part series, we will look at the 5 District games Perry will play this fall. Part 5 will feature a team who gave Perry their worse loss of the season last year.
Perry football will meet Creston for a third straight year this fall. The two clubs will share a District for a second straight cycle. The Panthers are a perfect 7-0 the past two decades against the Bluejays including winning the last three years. Perry fell last year 72-13 to Creston. The Bluejays will have a chance for revenge after Creston ran up the score in the last matchup. Perry football finished 1-9 in District games the last two year cycle.
The Bluejays and Panthers share the 3A District 6 with Carroll, Harlan Community, Greene County and Atlantic.
