The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Track and Field Team participated in their second meet of the season, posting a top-five finish.

ADM traveled to Ames to compete in the 2025 Iowa Association of Track Coaches Indoor Championships on Thursday, racking up 52 total points for third place behind Algona and Pella. In the individual events, senior Grant Engleman (22.86) finished in sixth place in the 200 meter dash, senior Cameron Forgy (51.43) got second in the 400 meters, sophomore Parker Hook (2:07) earned ninth place in the 800 meter run, it was senior Torin Timmerman getting sixth place in the 1600 meters (4:38.07) and fourth in the 3200 meters (10:14.17).

For the relays, the Tigers captured fifth place in the 4×100 meters (44.23), ninth in the 4×800 meters (8:58.73), second in the 4×400 meters (3:29.23) setting a new indoor record with Hook, Forgy, sophomore Brayden Davison, and senior Brayden Rynearson, plus 14th in the 1600 medley relay (4:04.45). In the long jump, senior Corbin Reed (19-10) was tied for fifth with Grinnell’s Beni Kiphanzu, then it was senior Kyler Chapman (5-09) and freshman Ben Grife (5-07) going eight-nine in the high jump, and senior Caleb Oberhoffer (43-03) placing 17th in the shot put.

The next meet for ADM is set for this upcoming Thursday at the H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse in Pella for the Central College Boys Indoor meet at 11:30am.
