Funeral services for Richard “Butch” Thompson, Jr., 60, of Greenfield, will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church with burial in the Hebron Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow the burial at the church.  The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Open Visitation:  Will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Survivors: He is survived by his children, Michelle Landers (Bill) of Exira, Kelcie Thompson (Wesley) of Hastings, Nebraska and Hunter Thompson (Kortney) of Greenfield;  five grandchildren, Jerix Lee, Bryce Charles, Brock Daniel, Alexys Jo Ellynn and Briar Marcella; mother, Ginger Thompson of Greenfield; sisters, Sherri Beitz (Darin) of Fontanelle and Brenda Clayton (John) of Greenfield; other relatives and friends.
