An athlete on the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field girls team chalked up a top-two finish during the first meet of the season.
ADM traveled to the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls on Tuesday for the Dickinson Relays to face off against over 100 teams in the state. Senior London Warmuth got a second place finish in the high jump with five feet and five inches and it was senior Calli Seehase (16-04.25) finishing in 11th in the long jump with senior Aniston Tollari (15-11) who got 19th.
Senior Jada Grove (8.06) finished in ninth place in the 60 meter sprint, junior Elise Coghlan (9.53) ran to a 10th place finish in the 60 meter hurdles, freshman Elliotte Von Roden (2:40) was 38th in the 800 meters, junior Alaina Nelson (5:43) was 36th in the 1500 meters, and senior Ella Goodrich (12:04) tallied 19th place in the 3000 meters.
In the shot put, senior Kennedy Stanford threw for 37 feet (37-01.50) to get a fifth place finish. The girls 4×200 meter relay team marked fourth place, the 4×400 meter relay was in ninth place, and the 4×800 meter relay rallied for 13th place. Full results can be found here.
