
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Track and Field Team saw one of their relays rack a top-ten finish at the Dickinson Relays on Monday.
The first meet is off and running for ADM, as the Tigers were in action at the UNI-Dome. The 4×200 meter relay team ran to a seventh place finish with a time of 1:35. The Tigers actually hold the All-Time State record, which was set last season with seniors of Brevin Doll, Grant Rychnovsky, Zach Lohmann, and Aiden Flora at 1:25.55. The other relays that ADM competed in at the 2025 Dickinson Relays were the 4×400 meters (3:57.72) in 39th and the 4×800 meters (9:14.70) for 34th.
Individually, freshman Zane Johnson ran a 23.75 for 27th place in the 200 meters, sophomore Parker Hook (54.28) was in 25th for the 400 meters, senior Torin Timmerman (2:11.19) marked 33rd in the 800 meters, and freshman Dain Holdmeyer (5:11.32) was 47th in the 1600 meters distance run.
In the boys high jump, senior Kyler Chapman placed 12th achieving five feet and 10 inches, and it was senior Joseph Kitzinger (18-04.25) in the long jump, plus senior Caleb Oberhoffer (46-02.75) tallying 25th in the shot put. Full results can be found here.
