
The Greene County High School girls’ track & field squad traveled to the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls on Tuesday for the A.D. Dickinson Relays. It’s a large meet with no team scoring and it features schools of all sizes from all parts of the state.
The highest placing for the Rams was a tie for 26th place in the high jump at four feet, eight inches from senior Payton Kokenge There were 92 high jumpers at UNI. The relay with the highest placing was the 4 x 400 with juniors Addison Gannon, Becca Anderson, Lila Osterson, and Kaycee Pittman. That quartet was 31st in a field of 52 in 4:36.85.
Greene County will have both teams in action at the Iowa Association of Track Coaches State Indoor Meets inside the Lied Student Recreation Center on the Iowa State Campus in Ames. The boys compete on Thursday and the girls on Friday.
