The Iowa High School Boys Basketball State Tournament begins on Monday at Wells Fargo Arena. 32 Schools will begin their Quarterfinal games at the start of the week and 4 champions will be crowned when all is said and done.

Bluejay basketball only matched up with one State Qualifier this year. That opponent was Heart of Iowa Conference newcomer Grand View Christian. The Thunder swept Perry in their inaugural year in conference. Winning 107-75 and 87-51. GVC is on the smaller teams in the Heart of Iowa as they compete in 2A. The Bluejays were eliminated in the first round by North Polk.
