The AC/GC Chargers boys basketball team is competing for a chance at the State Tournament tonight.

The Class 1A 5th Ranked 22-2 Chargers will be facing off against the 20-4 Remsen St. Mary’s Hawks. For the Chargers, Jathan South leads in points with 19.2, with Payton Policky leading in rebounds with 13.6 and Noah Kading leading in assists with 5.7, and an impressive 5.3 assist to turnover ratio. For the Hawks, Collin Homan leads in points and rebounds, with 14 and 6.8 respectively, while Landon Waldschmitt leads in assists with 5.2. The Chargers average 72.4 points and allow an average of 53.1, while the Hawks average 57.3 and allow 37. The game will be played at South Central Calhoun Middle School in Rockwell City, with tipoff set for 7pm. The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will broadcast the game live on 107.9FM KKRF and the KKRF online live stream.
