The high schools of Guthrie County are competing at the Iowa High School Speech Association’s District Individual Events Contest today.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Speech Coach Jessica Fridley says that they are sending eight students to the contest site to compete in 12 events. West Central Valley Speech Coach Nancy Bauch tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they have three students competing in two events. Both schools are competing at CAM High School in Anita, with contests to begin at 8am.
