A visitation for James “Jim” Michael McDevitt, 78, of Perry, will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry. Burial with Military Honors will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Perry Food Pantry. Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years Marilin, son Matthew (AnneMarie Spellman), daughter Melissa (Paul Doherty), grandchildren Sophia, Madeline, Matthew and Jordan and sister Diane (Milke Knight). Preceding Jim in death were his parents Shanty and Margaret McDevitt, his brothers Keith and Dan McDevitt and many beloved members of his extended family.
