Julie Maylum wrapped up her Perry wrestling career earlier this month.  The Jayette made another appearance to the State Tournament a few weeks back.  The senior went 1-2 in her matches.  Despite just one win at state, Julie grabbed 40 wins during the season.  The 155 pounder collected her 100 win this campaign and finished her career with 106.  That’s the most wins in school history since the Iowa Girls Union adopted wrestling three years ago.

In her final year, Julie took gold in four Meets.  She added second in another two Invites.  29 of her 40 victories this season came by fall.
