Junior Cole Darling was named the Iowa High School State Class 2A Individual Bowling Champion after winning first place on Tuesday. Heading into state, Darling was ranked second and defeated seventh seeded Pray Lawson of Keokuk 194-165; then met LeMars’ Taylor Lindner, who was ranked sixth, beating him 244 to 216; and would go onto to beat the top seeded Trey VanWyk from Oskaloosa 232 to 184 in the championship match.

ADM is in its debut year of having bowling for students as the past several years, the Tigers partnered with Waukee Schools. Darling is the first individual for ADM to win a state title in the sport of bowling as a lone program.
