With Presidents Day on Monday, there will be several organizations closed in observance of the holiday in Perry and Adel.
According to Perry’s Marketing and Engagement Coordinator Chris Cohea, city hall, Perry Water Works Office, and the Perry Public Library will be closed on Monday. He mentions that the McCreary Community Building will also not be open, but members over the age of 18 can still access the 24-Hour Fitness Room. Cohea details that the garbage routes for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, with Tuesday’s route being moved to Wednesday. He adds that the Perry City Council meeting will be switched from Monday to Tuesday in observance of the holiday.
