Feb. 13th

Amanda Dosedel, West Des Moines, was driving on I80 near the 112 mile marker, when she lost control due to icy conditions.  Ms. Dosedel’s vehicle hit a vehicle driven by Santos Gonzalez Alfaro, Des Moines.  No injuries were reported requiring EMS.  Damage to Ms. Dosedel’s vehicle was estimated at $500 and was able to be driven from the scene.  Damage to Mr. Alfaro’s car was estimated at $5000 and was towed from the scene. Ms. Dosedel was issued a citation for Failure To Maintain Control.  Mr. Alfaro was issued a citation for No Valid Driver’s License.

Julio Ruiz, age 22, 1915 5th St, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation Terms.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
