A Funeral Mass for Jerome “Jerry” Deluhery, 85, of Jefferson will be 10:30 am Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson.  Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Jefferson.  There will be at Vigil Service and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 4:30 pm on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, followed by the family greeting friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home.  Memorials are suggested to the Knights of Columbus in Jefferson.  Online condolences may be left at www.sliningerschroeder.com.

He is survived by his wife Elaine Deluhery of Jefferson, IA; his four children:  Matthew (Liz) Deluhery of Medford, NJ, Dan (Nancy) Deluhery of Stuart, IA, Teresa (David) Skalla of Jefferson, IA, and Joan (Michael) Wagemester of Cedar Rapids, IA; thirteen grandchildren:  Alison, Amy, Sarah, Theo, and Martin Deluhery, Jenni (Tristian) Brown, Courtney Hill, Hilary (Nate) Tobey, Abbey (Nic) Faust, Jeffrey (Angie) Skalla, Calvin Skalla, Jill and Sadie Wagemester; seven great grandchildren:  Mara, Becca, Bryant, Sage, Wes, Evalyn, and Emery; Nieces; Nephews; other relatives; and friends.
