
The latest class of Greene County Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be officially welcomed tonight at Greene County High School in Jefferson. The event is free and open to the public with light food and beverages in the Commons area at 6:30 p.m., followed by the group moving to the auditorium.
Inductees range in age from late 20’s to late 70’s and cover the sports of track & field, wrestling, football, and softball. Inductees are Bruce Mac Donald, Scranton Class of 1964, Will Thomsen, Jefferson-Scranton 1994, Matt Lautner, J-S ’00, John Michael Sawhill, J-S ’08, Jennifer Kennedy, Greene County ’13, Marissa Promes, Greene County, ’15.
The new Hall of Famers will be introduced on Friday night to the basketball crowd when the Rams host West Marshall (State Center) in a girl/boy doubleheader.
