Paton-Churdan lost a Rolling Valley Activities Conference girl/boy basketball doubleheader on Tuesady night on the road. EEHK won the girls’ game by a 59-17 girls’ final and 71-45 in the boys’ game.
The P-C girls are 1-18 on the season and were led in scoring by sophomore Alivya Smith with eight points. Sophomore Ella Tasler added four points. Jaelynn Petersen scored 19 points for EEHK and Taryn Petersen added 16 points.
Coach Josh Cerveny told Raccoon Valley Radio that the Rockets were lrd in scoring by sophomore Trevon Keely with 27 points. Keely was unofficially the rebounding leader with six.
The P-C boys host Woodward-Granger in JV and varsity boys’ basketball tomorrow night in Churdan.
