
The second and third place teams in the Heart of Iowa Conference met in Nevada last night for boy’s basketball. The host Cubs bested Perry 83-55. The loss is the 10 straight for the Bluejays against Nevada.
Perry spotted Nevada the first seven points of the game as the Cubs led 22-9 after one. Nevada shooters would hit 8 first half 3’s to grow the lead to 19, 40-21. The third was the best offensive quarter for both clubs, 64-41. Final 83-55.
The Bluejays sit at 11-7 (8-6) after the loss. Perry will host South Hamilton Friday night for Senior Night.
