A player from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball team announces where she’ll be continuing her athletic career in college.

Senior Kelli Storck will be attending Benedictine College in Atchinson, Kansas to pursue her career in basketball. So far during the 2024-25 season, Storck is averaging 9.6 points per game on 49% shooting from the field. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that her family watches from all over the Midwest.

“I have a really big support system. Just not in my immediate family with my mom, dad, brother, and sister, but also away and my extended family; they live in Decorah and Minnesota and they all tune into the games to watch and listen and stuff. So, I just think that knowing that everyone is kind of listening and following, it just makes me know that I have an audience, not even just in the stands but away too, so it’s very supportive.”

Storck has scored 172 points through 19 games, has grabbed 133 rebounds, accumulated 27 steals, and 11 blocks on the season. The Tigers are 12-7 overall (8-5; 4th inside the Raccoon River Conference) as they gear up to battle Gilbert Friday night, beginning at 6pm.
