The Panorama Panthers send two girls to the Iowa Girls Wrestling State Tournament after Gracie Recker and Emma Walker placed second at the Class 1A girls wrestling regional tournament in Red Oak last night. Recker and Walker will represent the Panorama Panthers at the state tournament on the 6th.

At 155, Gracie Recker would fall in the 1st place match by fall to Ryley Marcum of Missouri Valley to enter the match for 2nd place. To claim her place at the state tournament, Walker would defeat Paige Baier of Red Oak by fall in 1:05.

At 170, Emma Walker would fall to Nancy Bowman of Logan-Magnolia-Woodbine by fall to enter the match for second place and chance at the state tournament. Walker would notch her ticket and claim second place defeating Jalon Olson of Clarinda by fall in 3:02.

Recker and Walker represent the Panorama Panthers at the state tournament which begins on Thursday at the Xtreme Arena in Coralville.
