Greene County Medical Center has announced a new provider that is starting soon.

According to the medical center, Dr. Mark Abraham is a general surgeon who will be seeing patients in a clinical setting, as well as providing different surgeries on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, beginning February 5th. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Laurie Connolly is excited to have Dr. Abraham and his expertise join the medical center as he will perform a variety of surgeries. Those procedures include gallbladder surgery, hernia repair, laparoscopic abdominal surgery, skin and soft tissue biopsies, breast cancer care, vascular access procedures and endoscopy services. 

Dr. Abraham has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Creighton University and a medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
