Bowlers from Greene County High School host OABCIG this afternoon at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson. It’s a 4 p.m. start for the girls and boys teams from the two school districts.
The Greene County girls are coming off their first dual meet victory in the nearly two seasons of the sport. That took place by five pins last week in Carroll vs. the Tigers. The Rams had previously finished ahead of other teams in events with more than two teams.
OAGCIG and Greene County will meet in boys’ bowling with the Falcons at 2-4 and the Rams 5-2. Out of the ordinary, OABCIC has rolled their two lowest totals of the season in their last two matches, both victories. Their highest scores were in their four losses. The Rams are coming off a season high series of 2,830 pins vs. Ft. Dodge High in their most recent outing and they’ve had depth with seven different bowlers rolling at least one game of more than 200 pins.
