A yearly fun event is happening on Saturday within the community of Perry, and there are a variety ways for people to help out.

The Perry Chamber is gearing up for the 48th Annual Bike Ride to Rippey and according to Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, people are still able to register ahead of the ride for $45, but packets will need to be picked up at the Hotel Pattee from 8am-1pm on Saturday. She describes that the chamber is welcoming volunteers to assist in making sure that people know where to go during the ride. Pasutti encourages everyone in the community to stop out to support the riders.

“Be apart of the fun. Everyone likes parades here in town. It would be so fun to have the streets lined on 2nd Street to cheer on the riders that come out to be apart of this tradition. We’ve never canceled this event, and so rain or shine, snow, cold, warm days, whatever it’s going to be, we know that people will come out for it regardless.”

Pasutti adds that people interested in buying BRR 2025 shirts, can do so for $25 and it is another way to show support, and that volunteers will receive a discount on the shirt. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will make an appearance at the event from 8-11am on Saturday. To register, or learn more information, click here.
