An organization in the Minburn community is serving delicious food tomorrow during a yearly event.

The Minburn Emergency Rescue Team is inviting the public out to its annual soup and pie fundraiser at the Minburn United Methodist Church, 705 Chestnut Street. Assistant Fire Chief Dan Case notes that the fundraiser will feature homemade chili, potato and split pea soups, along with a variety of desserts and drinks. He mentions that the meal is a free-will donation with the proceeds going to fund equipment, training, and other special projects to help the Minburn Fire and Rescue Department. The soup and pie fundraiser will be open from 11am-1pm tomorrow.
