Last night the West Central Valley Wildcats hosted the Panorama Panthers for double header basketball action. The Wildcats picked up the sweep at home, with the Wildcat girls picked up a victory over the Panthers, 37-32 while the Wildcat boys defeated Panorama 55-51

For the Wildcat boys, the Panthers would come out motivated in the first and take the lead, bringing the score to 12-7 going into the second quarter. Working towards the halftime break, the Wildcats would continue to chip away at the lead but the Panthers would hang on, bringing the score to 28-27 going into the halftime break. Coming back from the break, the Wildcats would come out motivated and retake the lead in the third bringing the score to 41-33 going into the fourth quarter. The Wildcats would hang on, and score 14 points in the fourth to claim a four point victory, 55-51.

The Wildcats are back in action on Friday as they host the Madrid Tigers for double header basketball action while the Panorama Panthers play host to the ACGC Chargers. Coverage for the Panthers and the Charges will be on KKRF2 beginning at 5:45pm.
