The new high school for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District continues to see progress developing with the project.

ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio that FRK Architects are hard at work with designing a concept for the newly proposed school. He explains that the company accepted the construction design documents, which will allow them to draft the bid documents that the general contractors will review. Dufoe acknowledges that this phase is a huge accomplishment for the school board.

“It’s a big milestone for us. The bid documents have been prepared. Those big packages are now available for general contractors to start to review, so we’re super excited (and) we can’t wait for bid day in February.”

Dufoe says that the plan is to have the building to be completed by June 2027, with the intention to be open for students in time for the 2027-28 school year.
