The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams split the games in Carlisle on Tuesday.

Carlisle defeated ADM girls 48-27, but the Tiger boys won in dominant fashion 79-45. In the girls game, the first half began fast for the Wildcats but were quickly contained as it was 9-4 after the first quarter. The offense picked up for ADM in the second as they managed to score 11 points, and trailed 19-15 at the halftime break. The third quarter was huge for the Wildcats as they held the Tigers in check allowing five points while scoring 13 and took a 32-20 advantage to the fourth quarter. In the final frame, Carlisle outscored ADM 16-7 and went on to win the game 48-27. Tigers junior Madelyn Roundcount did not make an appearance as she did not travel with the team (reason undetermined).

The Wildcats were led by junior Macy Comito with 17 points, followed by freshman Taylor Thomas, who had 11. For the Tigers, freshman Ella Subbert led the way with 13 points, then it was freshman Aubrey Noring with three points. Carlisle improves to 10-2 overall (7-1 inside Raccoon River Conference) while ADM drops to 8-5 overall (5-3 RRC).

In the boys game, the first quarter was back and forth as the game was tied at 13. ADM began to open things up in the second quarter, scoring 17 to take a 30-23 advantage into the locker room at half. The Tigers would have an enormous second half as they put 49 points up in the second half with 22 in the third and another 27 in the fourth quarter to win the game 79-45.

ADM junior Hudson Lorensen was the high man with 21 points, then it was junior Trey Bryte that tallied 18 points, and senior Cade Fisher finished with 11. For Carlisle, senior Calvin Frey led the way with 16 points, then it was senior Jack Norton with nine and sophomore Trey Osterhaus who had eight.

The Tiger improve to 8-3 on the season (6-2 RRC), while the Wildcats fall to 4-8 overall (1-7 RRC). Carlisle is traveling to Carroll on Friday, and ADM will be on the road in Alleman taking on North Polk Friday night.
