Perry basketball plays Heart of Iowa Conference foe Greene County tonight in Jefferson.  This is the second time these two will share a court this season. Perry swept the doubleheader on December 3rd.  The Jayettes won 38-13 and the Bluejays won 65-32.

On the girls side, the two teams in the basement of the Heart of Iowa Conference will meet.  Perry is 1-7 while the Rams are 0-7 in conference.  The Jayettes have dominated this series winning 6 of the last 7 matchups.  Coach Klein talks about the struggles of playing a team a second time.  “We just need to continue to work on improving ourselves.  We can’t worry about who we’re playing.  Doesn’t matter whether we’re playing Greene County.  We’re playing West Marshall.  We’ve got to do some things to make us better.”

For the boys, Perry is tied for third in the conference with a record of 5-3 and Greene County is 8th with a 1-6 record.  The Bluejays are currently on a 4 game winning streak over the Rams.

Tipoff is set for 6P tonight and KDLS and the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will have the broadcast.
