Perry girls wrestling will be at Woodward-Granger High School tonight.  The Jayettes will see some familiar faces.  Perry and Woodward-Granger used to coop for girls wrestling 3 seasons ago.  Coach Maylum says a lot of the girls are still close.  “  You know, it’s a small sport.  We love those girls.  No hard feelings, you know.  We’ve only got to face off with them, you know here and there at tournaments so this will be our first our first dual.”  Also in attendance tonight will be Atlantic,  Central Decatur, and East Union.  Perry was recently at the Ogden Tournament where they took 9th of 27 teams.  The Jayettes only competed in 6 of the 14 weight classes, yet finished in the top third of teams.

This a big week for the Jayettes.  Friday they will host their own tournament and the amount of days until State Qualifying, Jan 31 are dwindling.
