The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board met in regular session on Monday.

The board was given a presentation about the High School English Language Arts curriculum revision process. ADM High School Principal Lee Griebel, ELA Teachers Natalie Johnson and Molly Longman, DeSoto Intermediate Principal Amy Hemphill, and ADM Assistant Superintendent Travis Wilkins discussed new courses that will be implemented for the 2025-26 school year. 

Items on the agenda that were approved included the 2025-26 high school course handbook as presented, appointing Josh Jacobs as the district secretary, district treasurer, the school business official, and the Equity/Affirmative Action Coordinator, a resolution for open enrollment for the 2025-26 school year, a resolution for the School Budget Review Committee modified supplemental amount of $849,512 for the 2025-26 At Risk/Dropout Prevention program, and a resolution for the new ADM High School Construction design by FRK Architects for a total amount of $66,875,578.
