The Stuart Police Department Community Programs might be winding down the fall and winter events, but they are gearing up for the spring and summer.
Stuart Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger acknowledges that support from the community is what is making all these events special.
“Really without continued support throughout the year or at the fundraiser suppers or things like that, that’s what makes these programs happen. Whether it’s again the summer programs or the bike rodeos or National Night Out or Shop With A Cop. All of those things really make a difference to make these programs happen because we could not do these programs without that continued support from everyone.”
Guisinger mentions that there isn’t anything planned for January, but that she’s already getting things set up for the SPDCP annual spaghetti supper fundraiser in early February, and planning what to do for the summer programs.
