The Raccoon River Wrestling Team won a triangular that was held in Ankeny on Tuesday.

RRW won close matches over Cedar Falls 38-33 and Ankeny 37-33. Individually, for Cedar Falls, RRW’s Reese Baxter (235 lbs.) beat Madilyn Metz by a fall (2:51), it was Katie Biscoglia (105 lbs.) defeating Chloe Utsler by a technical fall (5:56), Ellie Hancock (125 lbs.) was victorious against Lana Schafer by a fall (3:15), Calista Rodish (130 lbs.) quickly defeated Mia Ahrendsen by a fall (41 seconds), and Naomi Templeman beat out Destiny Hoeppner by a fall (3:58).

In the Ankeny meet, Baxter won over Kaylie Staples by a fall (36 seconds), Biscoglia defeated Lauren Watson by a 14-3 major decision, Hancock outlasted Audri Headrick by a 9-2 decision, Rodish beat Liz Makovec by a fall (1:58), and Edie Collins was victorious over Madelyn Postma by a fall (58 seconds).

RRW is now off until next Thursday, January 16th when they host the Raccoon River Wrestling Quad at Waukee Northwest High School versus Urbandale, Des Moines Girls Wrestling, and Valley.
