Funeral services for Craig Douglas McDowell, 64, of Des Moines, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Perry Chapel, with visitation beginning one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rippey Cemetery. Craig is survived by his brother, David (Christine) McDowell of Ogden; his niece, Mackenzie (Justin) Peterson, and their sons, Emmett and Rhett; his nephew, Garrett McDowell (Katie Peterson) of Boone; and his aunts, Sharon Laub of Rippey, Virginia Wernli of Norwalk, and Mary Jane McDowell of Texas.
