The one year anniversary of the tragic school shooting in Perry was last Saturday.  This Friday, Perry will honor the late Dan Marburger with a court dedication ceremony.  Perry basketball will host Grandview Christian in the contest.  The ceremony will take place right after the varsity girls’ game around 7P says Perry AD Tina Lutterman.  ” The Marburger family will be in attendance and extended family will be there. We will have a short ceremony to just kind of honor the night and Emily Brown from the Ray Center will be in attendance, too to share with our community.  Dan had been honored posthumously with the pillar of character award for what he had done for our school and our community.”  Following the ceremony the boys will play their game.

Over the summer, Perry added “Dan Marburger Court” to the gym floor and during Friday’s doubleheader with Grandview Christian there will be a ceremony to honor Dan.
