Photos belongs to the Raccoon River Wrestling Team
The Raccoon River Wrestling Team took home first place for the second year in a row following a big meet in Wisconsin this past weekend.
RRW participated in The Clash National Duals on Friday and Saturday in La Crosse, Wisconsin, grabbing victories over four schools. RRW defeated St. Michael-Albertville, MN 68-3; Hastings, MN 45-27; Apple Valley, MN 40-30; and Batavia, IL 66-6. Katie Biscoglia (106 lbs.) won all four of her matches with wins over St. Michael-Albertville’s Ava Schultz by a 7-3 decision, defeated Hasting’s Darriyanah Kelly by a fall (1:31), Apple Valley’s Ava Hartwig by a fall (50 seconds), and Batavia’s Miracle Jackson by a fall (1:13).
Calista Rodish (136 lbs.) beat all four of her opponents as well with victories over St. Michael-Albertville’s Emma Antoni by a technical fall 5:06, Hastings’ Audrianna Dahlberg by a fall (1:50), Apple Valley’s Alma Calvillo by a fall (1:12), and Batavia’s Norah Stoodley by a fall (23 seconds).
Other individuals getting wins for RRW included Reese Baxter, Edie Collins, Naomi Templeman (who garnered her 100th win), Bella Bruins, Grace Rinehart, Cassidy McCallister, Quincy Cooper, Natalie Keller, Izzy Duncan, and Elli Hancock.
This is the second consecutive year that RRW has brought home first place back to the state of Iowa for The Clash. The full results for each match can be found below.
