Daniel Clayton, age 65, 221 Locust St, De Soto, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Edward Noonan, Minburn, was driving in the 20000 block of Hwy 169 when, for an unknown reason, he slowed and pulled to the shoulder.  He attempted to do a u-turn and was struck by a truck driven by Alfredo Mendoza, Pharr, TX.  This caused Mr. Noonan’s car to go into a ditch and came to rest in a farm field.  Mr. Noonan was transported to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries.  Mr. Mendoza did not report any injuries.  Damage to Mr. Noonan’s vehicle was estimated at $10000.  Damage to Mr. Mendoza’s truck was estimated at $15000.

Jacquelyn Schafer, Van Meter, was driving in the 25000 block of 347th St, when she lost control, due to ice and went into the ditch.  The vehicle rolled onto it’s top before coming to a stop.  No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5000.

Jan. 5th

Bailee Hansen, age 20, 1403 334th Rd, Woodward, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.

Justin Beauvais, age 34, 868 NE Cherry Plum Dr, Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While Barred.

Jan. 6th

Nicole Lingelbach, age 40, 317 SE Jacob St, Grimes, was arrested for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
