The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball team participated in a non-conference game on Saturday in Van Meter, coming out with a close win.

ADM was trying to snap a two-game losing streak and did so as they defeated the Van Meter Bulldogs 57-55. The game was close throughout as the Tigers led 11-9 after the first quarter, then led slightly 26-25 at the halftime break. The Bulldogs outscored the Tigers 17-14 in the third to take a 42-40 advantage into the final frame, but ADM was capable of producing 17 points in the fourth quarter to win a tight 57-55 battle.

Tiger junior Hudson Lorensen led all scores with 23 points, then it was junior Trey Bryte, who poured in 16 points, and senior Cade Fisher with six. With the win, ADM improves to 6-2 on the season as Van Meter falls to 3-4. The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow evening as they head over to Gilbert High School. Tip off will be at approximately 7:30pm and Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the coverage on K107.9 KKRF following the girls game.
