The Perry Public Library wants everyone’s input this month on a decorating contest that was held in December.
Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper says the library had a Gingerbread Man Making Contest between December 20th and the 31st, which allowed patrons to design their own gingerbread revolving around a famous book character. She invites everyone to stop by and vote for their favorite during the month of January that are on display at the front circulation desk.
Pieper mentions that the People’s Choice will be awarded as well as the librarians selecting their awards for most original and most creative. She emphasizes that people can only cast one vote, which will end on January 31st. The three winners will be announced on February 1st and will receive $25 in Perry Chamber Bucks.
