The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams were successful on Tuesday grabbing two wins versus Bondurant-Farrar.

Tiger girls won 43-25, while the boys dominated 80-50 over the Bluejays. ADM girls got out to a 17-4 advantage after the first quarter, playing great defense. They scored another eight points, holding Bondurant-Farrar to six to lead 25-10 at the halftime break. The Bluejays started to get shots to go down in the third, but the Tigers kept their distance with a 33-19 lead going into the fourth, as ADM added another 10 to win the game 43-25.

Tigers were led by junior Madelyn Roundcount, who had 11 points, with freshman Ella Subbert contributed with seven, then it was sophomore Alexis Maxwell with six. For the Bluejays, junior Addison Brown and freshman Kaylee Hanson each had eight points, with sophomore Tiara Berggren’s four. Bondurant-Farrar falls to 2-4 on the season (1-3 inside the Raccoon River Conference) while ADM improves to 5-3 overall (3-1 RRC).

On the boys side, the Tigers and Bluejays were trading buckets as ADM led slightly 22-17 at the end of one. In the second quarter, the Tigers outscored the Bluejays 23-9 to open up a 19-point lead at the half (45-26). ADM poured on 23 more points to extend it to 68-38 after three against Bondurant-Farrar. Much of the bench played in the fourth quarter as the Tigers won their fifth game of the season, 80-50.

ADM was once again led by junior Hudson Lorensen with 30 points, followed by junior Trey Bryte, who had 16 points, then senior Wyatt Schweiger tallied 11 points with three baskets from behind the arc. Senior Hudson McConnell was the high man for Bondurant-Farrar with 17 points, then senior Jerze Simonson had 10 points, then it was six points for senior Boone Obrecht. The Bluejays drop to 2-2 on the season (2-2 RRC) and the Tigers stay undefeated at 5-0 (4-0 RRC). Up next for Bondurant-Farrar is hosting Boone on Friday as ADM will be home to Ballard on Friday.
