The varsity basketball teams from Greene County High School haven’t had much success in recent seasons when they’ve played the Nevada teams. The Rams get another chance against the Cubs tonight in Nevada in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference girl/boy doubleheader on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

Coach Tori Ogden’s Greene County girls are 0-5 and Coach Chris Nelson’s boys have a 2-3 record. The Nevada girls are 2-4 on the season and the Cubs are 5-0 in boys’ basketball. Greene County girls’ teams have lost 19 straight to the Cubs, dating back to December 2014. In boys’ basketball, the Rams have not beaten Nevada since wins in December 2017 and January 2018, a streak of 12 games in a row.
