The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams are returning home to Adel tonight to take on Raccoon River Conference opponent Bondurant-Farrar.
The Tigers are coming off victories against Winterset this past Saturday where the girls won 33-29 and the boys garnered a 71-42 win. For the girls, freshman Ella Subbert led the way in the previous game with nine points and sophomore Alexis Maxwell contributed with seven. On the boys side, it was another high scoring game from junior Hudson Lorensen, who poured in 25 points, followed by junior Hudson Shull with 16, and senior Cade Fisher’s 10.
Senior Kelli Storck is leading the ADM girls averaging 10.6 points on the season, as Bondurant-Farrar senior Aubrie Haynes is at 5.2 points per game. For the boys, Tigers’ Lorensen is averaging 28.2 points per game on 57.5% shooting, with senior Hudson McConnell at 19.7 points.
Bluejay girls are sitting at 2-3 on the season as the Tigers are at 4-3, with Bondurant-Farrar’s boys at 2-1, then ADM at 4-0. The girls will begin the night with tip off at 6pm, and the boys will be afterwards at about 7:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
